The Limbaži Lielezers Nature Trail offers an immersive experience in the heart of the North Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve. Stretching 3.6 kilometers, this trail combines wooden boardwalks with gravel paths, guiding visitors through reed-lined sections and scenic open views of the lake. Along the way, you’ll find a pedestrian bridge over the Donaviņa Stream and a bird-watching tower offering a stunning panoramic view of the area.

This trail is perfect for peaceful walks, Nordic walking, or even skiing during the winter months. Plenty of free parking is available, and there is no cost to walk the trail. The nature trail can be accessed from three locations: Lielezers Beach, Ievu iela, and Jūras iela. There is free street parking on Ievu iela, a free parking lot on Lielezers iela, and a few parking spots on the northwestern side near the observation deck, located off Jūras iela.
